Made in collaboration with Kent Uyehara’s San Francisco-based store, the FTC x Nike SB dunk low is the first sneaker to drop that pays homage to the Tokyo Olympics. inspired by indoor Sento bathhouses that are famous in Japan, these are public establishments that allow people from all different walks of life to go and escape the daily grind.
With crisp white quilted leather, light blue suede, and a metallic silver Swoosh that beautifully glides across the lateral and medial side panels, what’s there not to love about the FTC x Nike SB dunk Low?

Another dunk made in partnership with a Japanese icon, the UNDERCOVER x Nike dunk High celebrates the hoops classic in its original form. featuring the same shape and structure as the OG from 1985, this shoe is painted in the legendary “Bred” palette and colourblocked to pure perfection. Pebbled leathers feature throughout for a premium look and feel, while a classic speckled midsole underfoot offers up that classic UNDERCOVER aesthetic.
The heel is printed with an “Undercover Basketball Association” in all-caps as a nod to the original performance basketball design, while co-branded detailing at the tongue and insole finalises the design.

Piet Parra x Nike SB dunk low Pro

One day later, we’re getting the Piet Parra x Nike SB dunk low pro that has been around the rumour mill for quite some time. Dropping as part of the Beaverton brand’s Spring/Summer 21 range, this special shoe is inspired by abstract art and is releasing alongside Federation Kits.
Utilising the Dutch visual artist’s signature blue, pink, and red scheme, this is showcased via a plethora of weaving wavy geometric shapes. It’s then finished with a crisp white base and midsole and a gum rubber outsole, rounding everything off nicely.

Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High

If you thought that was all then you’d be dead wrong as we’re also getting the hotly-anticipated Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 high on the same day. A rare three-way collab between Travis Scott, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and the Michael Jordan-helmed label, this is like a hybrid between one of La Flame’s AJ1s and another from the collection of the godfather of streetwear.
Colourblocked in blue and white panels, a backwards Swoosh shoots across the lateral side panel, while the rest of the Jordan is done up with co-branded details that ensure you know it’s a special shoe. There’s no doubt that the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High could be the hottest shoe of the year.

AMBUSH x Nike dunk High

Yoon Ahn is back in the dunk arena once again, this time with the AMBUSH x Nike dunk High “Flash Lime”. set to be her fourth take on the basketball silhouette, the South Korean fashion designer has applied her love of motorcycle culture to this pair once again. With an extended ankle and a Swoosh that looks like it’s going from 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds, it’s hard to overlook the inspiration for this design.
Of course, you can’t talk about this pair without mentioning the vibrant green colourway. perfect for the sizzling summer months, you definitely don’t want to miss this release.

And last but not least we have the sacai x Nike blazer low “Iron Grey”. This is dropping alongside another pair but this is hands down the better of the two. Chitose Abe’s third take on this low cut sneaker, she has lent her unmissable deconstructed aesthetic to this shoe once again, and this time it’s been executed immaculately.
Not only do you get two Swooshes, you also get two tongues, two midsoles, and two lacing systems for a look that is quite literally twice as nice.
